Returns & refunds

Clappe Buyer Protection backs eligible orders on clappe.shop. Here’s how returns, cancellations, and refunds work.
Physical goods
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, you can request a return or refund. Many sellers also accept change-of-mind returns within a stated window — check the listing. Start your request within 14 days of delivery where the law or the seller’s policy provides it.
Services & bookings
To reschedule or cancel a booking, message the seller as early as possible. Each seller sets their own cancellation window and any deposit terms, shown on the listing. Services already delivered as described are generally non-refundable.
How to start a return
Open your order using its reference and choose “Message seller”, or use “Message seller” from the listing. Describe the issue and what you’d like (replacement, repair, or refund). Most issues are resolved directly with the seller.
Refunds & timing
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing typically takes a few business days after the seller or Clappe approves the request.
If you can’t reach a resolution
If a seller doesn’t respond or you can’t agree, Clappe Buyer Protection lets you escalate an eligible order to us — contact us with your order reference and we’ll help mediate.
